Just to get the ball rolling, here's a quick design recently finished. Nothing to fancy, bullpup SMG with holo site. Always been a fan of the bullpup layout, allows for longer barrel length and keeps the overall size of the weapon compact.
Can see my process here too, at this stage, I think side views are all that needed to get the overall feel and design down, after this, may mock up a crude 3d version and paint over or just go straight into photoshop with a rendering in perspective.
